Mid-Winter Conference - Jan. 25-27, 2019

Americanism Essay Contest

Located at the Omni Austin Southpark Hotel this year, the Mid Winter Conference looks to be a cold one! With the start to winter already beginning in October, prep your jackets as we make our way to Austin for a conference filled with team building, food and more!

Each year, the American Legion Auxiliary sponsors and Americanism Essay Contest for students in grades 3-12, including students with special needs. Grade levels are divided into 6 classes. One award in each of the six classes will be presented in each division. Winners will receive $50 and a $50 donation in the student's name will be made to the Children of Warriors National Presidents' Scholarship fund. National winners will be posted at after the convention.
